About Me

There is a lot I can say about my fitness journey so I will start at the point I decided enough was enough and I was going to get fit. My senior year in high school I was 335 lbs. wearing a size 54 wranglers. When I started getting interested in MMA I told some people I wanted to train and I was laughed at. It is 2010 and 7 months after I have graduated high school in Alma, AR and I join a fitness center in a hospital with an indoor pool. I did some research on health and fitness everywhere I could. Had I gotten a trainer my results would have been way better than they initially were. So I taught myself to swim and started eating healthy like I was supposed to and after swimming a mile 6 days a week and had changed my eating habits, by the first week of May just 4 months later I was 185 lbs!! My transformation was so crazy that when I turned 21 was in June of that year so the next month, and I was going to a bar for the first time with my friends and my ID had my picture from when I was way overweight and they really didn't let me in and accused me of using a fake ID.

As I progressed in my fitness I had made a trip to Stockton, CA to see some family and being a huge fan of the legendary Diaz Brothers of Stockton, California I just couldn't pass up a chance to train with them. After doing better than I thought I would Nick himself invited me back and from 2013-2017 I had the fortunate pleasure of getting to train with the best team in the UFC.  We skip ahead to today and I am a certified personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach under ISSA and in the process of achieving my degree in sports physiology/exercise science. Changing people's lives for the better is always an amazing feeling.
